RTUL is a leading manufacturer of Ultrasonic NDT equipment. The Company has achieved a very high standard and leadership in the design and production of Ultrasonic Transducers and testing equipment, including Thickness Gauges, Flaw Detectors, Concrete Testers and specialized Pulser receivers. All these instrument utilize ultrasonic sound to examine the internal integrity of metals, plastics and composite materials.

Each of our Flaw Detectors and Thickness Gauges require a Piezo Electric Transducer to convert electrical impulses to sonic energy. The resultant sound wave propogates through the material under test until reflected by a crack, inclusion, debond or the boundary of the part under test. The reflected acoustic wave is re-converted to electrical energy by the Transducer. The lapsed time and amplitude of the reflection yields information about thickness and\or integrity of the part.

RTUL has one of the most sophisticated manufacturing facilities with very high precision and sophisticated testing and calibrating instruments for all types of NDT machines. RTUL manufactures a wide range of Transducers from 25 KHz - 50 MHz in standard contact, immersion and air propagation applications.
